Aus3DE CANCELLATION
Unfortunately I am writing to notify you that the Board of the Australian International 3 Day Event has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2021 Event.
As a result of ongoing lockdowns across the country, and the cancellation of equestrian events in many states, riders have been unable to qualify to compete at the Adelaide event in November.
We are particularly disappointed after the success of the Australian Olympic Eventing Team winning a Silver medal and Andrew Hoy winning an individual Bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics, but it has become obvious that we would not be able to deliver the event to the high international standards that we have in the past.
We are thankful for everyone’s support during these frustrating times and I can assure you that we are fully committed to delivering this event for 2022.
