Equestrian SA - Tribute to Eventing Rider

Equestrian SA Chairman Elizabeth Fricker, has paid tribute to young New South Wales equestrian Olivia Inglis who passed away after sustaining injuries in a fall at the Scone Horse Trials, yesterday.

On behalf of all equestrian participants in South Australia, Equestrian SA extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of Olivia Inglis following her tragic passing.

Our thoughts are with Olivia’s parents Charlotte and Arthur and their family, and the wider New South Wales equestrian community which is in deep mourning at the loss.

“Olivia was a young lady pursuing a dream to ride. To lose her so young is a tragedy for all involved.”

Equestrian is a tight-knit community and the pain of Olivia’s death is felt deeply by everyone in the sport.
