SA Sports Medicine Association - Upcoming Webinars

This week’s update is to let you know of some of the free sessions the SA Sports Medicine Association have coming up as well as the date for the next Level 1 Sports Trainers Course.

Returning to Sport & Recreation Facebook Live Series

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30pm we will be live on our Facebook page looking at a range of topics in relation to “Returning to Sport & Recreation in a COVID Environment”. The focus of these 20 – 30 minute Q&A sessions with leading sports medicine experts is on well-being and what do we need to be doing at club land.

This week we start with an overview of the Guidelines and what this means for first aiders and sports trainers and how they work in this environment, what policies clubs need to have in place and where to go for resources, and how do we prevent injuries to our players who are going from nothing to now do something.

Tuesdays are dedicated to Sports Taping. So if you are getting your players to tape themselves, these are a great opportunity to learn how to tape themselves effectively.

If there are any specific topics you would like us to cover please let me know and we will add these to the list.
