As a part of our 125 year anniversary we will be hosting a Brunch on Friday the 5th March 2021 at the National Wine Centre commencing at 10am and finishing at 12pm, with networking half an hour prior to the start time. The focus of the brunch will be diversity and inclusion in sport for women, celebrating how far we have come and what can still be achieved.
Enjoy breakfast canapés and bubbly while you listen to the inspiring words from our keynote speaker and panellists. Keynote Speaker Our keynote speaker, Adelaide University alumni and ex-Matildas Vice Captain Moya Dodd will look back at the parallel progress of sport and society over our 125 year history, and provide an insightful and provocative look forward at how sport can and should lead in equality, diversity and inclusion going forward. Moya is a member of the International Council of Arbitration for Sport, FIFA’s Player Status Committee, and the IOC Athlete’s Entourage Commission. She is a trustee of the Centre for Sport and Human Rights, Chair of Common Goal, and serves on the board of Barefoot to Boots.

Amber Halliday Amber is a multiple world champion and Olympic rower. She later switched to top level cycling, where she was a tour winner, a national champion and raced overseas with the Australian team. In 2011 a tragic cycling accident and traumatic brain injury ended her career. Amber has worked hard in her recovery, achieving a PhD from the The University of Adelaide in psychology and founding She Thrives in Sport - online education and coaching for resilience, performance and wellbeing in sport.
Kortney Olson Kortney is a certified personal trainer, accredited Olympic lifting coach and a certified crossfit coach. If you need more convincing of her credentials she’s the OG Australian Women’s arm wrestling champion, a Queensland State Brazilian Jiu Jitsu champion, 3 time international bodybuilding competitor, best selling author, TV personality and CEO of GRRRL Clothing.
Maeve Plouffe Maeve Plouffe is a current University of Adelaide Student and an Australian track endurance cyclist based in Adelaide, South Australia. 2020 saw Maeve rapidly rise to the top of Australian sport, becoming the youngest Australian female track cyclist to be named on the team for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. In the 2019-2020 season, Maeve was crowned three-time Australian elite national champion in the Individual Pursuit, Teams Pursuit and Madison. She was also crowned Oceania scratch race champion, and won a World Cup gold in the Women's Team Pursuit.
