Equine Pathways Australia - 2 Day Clinic
Equine Pathways are a Not For Profit organisation, specialising in equestrian sport for athletes with a disability. They have been in operation in Victoria for 4 years and have so far held one clinic already in South Australia which was very successful.
Their two days clinics are based around the development of Individual Performance Plans for each participant covering areas of Sport Psychology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nutrition, etc, plus of course dressage training. Athletes participate in a series of individual appointments with our Allied Health providers and coaches to develop their IPP so that progress towards their goals in either Recreation, High Performance or Vocational areas can be measured.
There is a second clinic booked for 19/20 June in Strathalbyn, and another booked for 11/12 November. There are plans to run 4 clinics per year in SA, to support the work that is already being done by organisations and individuals there.
