Mallala Show Jumping Club - Change of Date

The Board of Equestrian South Australia wishes to advise members they fully support moving the Mallala Showjumping Club event from March 9 & 10 to commence 3.00 pm March 16 and all day on 17 March.  The change has eventuated due the extreme weather conditions we have been experiencing.

The Mallala Showjumping Club sought approval from Jumping SA.

The Mallala Showjumping Club event is affiliated with Equestrian South Australia.

The Mount Pleasant Agricultural Show scheduled for March 16, did not complete the requirements for affiliation and Mr Thomas on their behalf has published that the event is not affiliated with Equestrian South Australia.

Equestrian South Australia would prefer the Mount Pleasant Agricultural Show was affiliated and will seek to resolve any issues prior to the 2025 event if possible.

Affiliation provides the framework for jumping competitions in Australia to operate, this includes the rules, accreditation of officials etc.

Equestrian South Australia is currently working with the Agricultural Show council to address issues that have arisen from the base registration requirements.
